_x000D_

Clean both surfaces with Toluene or Methyl-ethyl-ketone. Apply glue to both surfaces.

_x000D_

Let dry for 15+ minutes. Using  a hair dryer or heat gun, slowly heat surfaces to reactivate glue. Join  together, working from center outward to avoid trapping air bubbles.  Bond is immediate. Let dry 6 to 8 hours.  Without hair dryer or heat gun, apply a very thin 2 nd coat to both surfaces. Join together. Let dry 6 to 8 hours.

Air Bag and Vinyl Raft Repairs:

_x000D_

Clean both surfaces using isopropyl alcohol. Apply a thin coating of the Vinyl Tec to the surface area of both surfaces. Allow to  dry at room temperature until completely dry (approx. 5-10 minutes). Do  not place on float bag until both surfaces are dry. You can damage the  float bag if the surfaces are placed in contact with the bag when they  are still wet or if too much adhesive is used. Apply a second very thin coat of Vinyl Tec to both surfaces and allow to dry until slightly tacky.  Press together, smoothing out with pressure. Should fully cure for 5-10  hours.

Important (read before proceeding):

_x000D_
The  reason an adhesive works well is that it creates a mechanical bond  between the two surfaces. In order to accomplish this, the adhesive  chemically melts the two surfaces so a mechanical bond between them can  take place. This is what creates the bond necessary for a bombproof  thigh strap anchor not to pull off under prolonged extreme use. If you  do not allow the adhesive to “flash-off” or dry once it is applied to  both surfaces the chemical reaction continues to occur working it’s way  into the foam core of the ABS. This results in permanent structural  damage to your hull. Once the adhesive is ‘flashed-off” or dry it needs  to be re-activated using a hair dryer or heat gun.
